Women and girls at a Grace House Kenya outreach day in Homa Bay

Safety. Healing. New beginnings for mothers and children.

Grace House Kenya walks alongside women and mothers in Homa Bay who are escaping violence, recovering from substance use, raising children alone, or coming home from prison.

Who we are

We are a Christian ministry in Homa Bay, led by Pastor Ben Odipo and his wife, Hellen Atieno. We offer a safe place to stay, steady support through recovery, and practical help for mothers and their children.

We serve women of every faith and of none. Our faith is the reason we do this work. It is never a condition of receiving help.

Rooted in Foundation House

Grace House Kenya is an independent ministry, led and run in Kenya. Our model follows Foundation House Ministries, a maternity home programme in Tennessee, USA, that has walked alongside mothers in crisis for two decades.

Foundation House Ministries trains and mentors our team. It does not fund or govern our work.

“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”Psalm 34:18 (ESV)

Ways to help

Every woman who finds safety here gets there because someone gave, prayed, or showed up.
