Prison ministry

Many women in custody in Kenya are mothers. Some have their babies with them inside. Others worry every day about children left with relatives or alone. Grace House Kenya goes in to remind them they are not forgotten.

“Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.”Hebrews 13:3 (ESV)

What we do

Visits and chaplaincy

Regular visits for prayer, Bible teaching for those who want it, and someone who listens.

Supplies

Sanitary pads, soap, and baby items for mothers with children inside.

Reentry and aftercare

When a woman is released, we help her find a safe place to stay, reconnect with her children, and take her first steps toward work and stability.
